Sport is very popular in Dubai. Friendly games with many famous sport stars are
very often events with lucrative prizes.
Dubailand project, which is under construction is going to include dedicated
Sport City (first such center in the world). If it is finished in projected
time, there are rumors that Dubai will bid for the 2016
Olympic Games.

The Dubai World Cup- this horseracing cup is organized by the Dubai Racing Club Nadal-Sheba. The cup is held every march, and it’s the world's richest horseracing event with prize fund US$15
